Manual Cinch Tool
Sizes:
1/2" (12.7 mm)
3/4" (19.1 mm)
Watts Manual Cinch Tool is designed for use with Heating PEX tubing and
CinchClamp connections.

Specifications

Connections shall use Watts cinch fittings and Heating PEX cross-linked
polyethylene pipe.
Installation Parameters
All CinchClamps must be installed using a Watts Cinch Tool and in
accordance with all installation guidelines.
– Make sure the tubing has a clean, square cut end.
– Slide the CinchClamp over the tubing.
– Insert fitting and position CinchClamp, allowing for approximately
1/8" clearance between clamp and fitting.
– Position the open jaws of the Cinch Tool over the tabs of the
CinchClamp and squeeze. Tool will release when cinch is complete.
If connections are made in temperatures below 30.0°F
(-1.1ºC), caution must be taken to cinch slowly, allowing
the Heating PEX to form a proper seal against the barb.
Do not use the Cinch Tool to remove CinchClamps.
This will cause damage to the tool, resulting in
improper connections.
