To access this menu, press <Menu> in Idle mode and
select Settings.
Time and date
(Menu 9.1)
Use this menu to set the current time and date on
your phone.
•
Home zone: set the home time zone. Select the
city that corresponds to your home zone. To set
the daylight saving time, select Set daylight
saving time.
•
Time: enter the current time.
•
AM/PM: select AM or PM in 12-hour time format.
•
Time format: select a time format.
•
Date: enter the current date.
•
Date format: select a date format.
•
Auto update: activate the auto time update
feature. Your phone will read the MCC (Mobile
Country Code) from the network and automatically
update the current time for the country that you
are in when you travel abroad.
Time information may not be updated when you
move to one time zone to another within a country.

customised to suit your preferences.
Language
(Menu 9.2.1)
Use this menu to select the display language and
select Mohu pinyin pairs.
•
Display: select a display language.
•
Mohu pinyin: select Mohu piyin pairs so that you
can easily enter characters that are similar im
phonetic spelling.
Greeting message
(Menu 9.2.2)
Use this menu to enter the greeting that is displayed
briefly when the phone is switched on.
