Service Light
The service light is at the top right corner of your phone.
It flashes to indicate an incoming call or message. Also,
the service light flashes for a few seconds when you
turn the phone on or off.

Getting Started
Installing a Battery
Your Samsung phone comes packaged with a partially
charged, rechargeable Li-ion battery.
To install the battery:
1. Place the battery on the phone to insert the three
tabs at the bottom of the battery into the
corresponding grooves of the phone.
2. Push the battery down until it snaps into place.
Make sure that the battery is properly installed
before switching the phone on.
