and spare o-rings (batteries not
included with model JLFL-600U)

Operating Instructions

1. Remove tail cap and insert batteries
with positive (+) pole facing toward
front of flashlight.
2. Press tail switch halfway for
temporary light or to cycle through
various power modes if available (see
chart). Press fully until button clicks
to turn flashlight on. Press button
multiple times to cycle through 100%,
50%, 25%, flash, and SOS power
modes. Once a mode has been
selected and engaged for 5 seconds,
pressing switch again turns off
flashlight.
3. Pull head of flashlight forward or
backward to focus from narrow spot
to wide beam
4. For model JLFL-600U: to recharge,
plug included cable into any USB
charging device. To reveal USB port
rotate center collar. Can also be
powered with 3 x AAA batteries (not
included).

Maintenance

1. Do not attempt to dismantle sealed
parts of the flashlight.
2. Use quality batteries and replace all
batteries at the same time with the
same brand.
3. Periodically inspect the o-rings at the
base of the threads on the battery
cap and lens housing and replace if
nicked, torn, gouged or otherwise
damaged to maintain water
resistance.

4. If flashlight is to be stored for long
periods, remove batteries to prevent
damage due to leakage.
5. If light does not turn on, replace
batteries. If performance is not
satisfactory, clean battery contact
points inside tube with rubbing
alcohol. If performance is still not
satisfactory, return light to your dealer
for repair or replacement under our
standard warranty policy.
6. Do not dispose of batteries in
household trash.

One-Year Limited Warranty Against
Defects in Materials or Workmanship
STARTECH warrants this product

to be free of defects in materials or
workmanship for a period of one year
after sale to the end user. Please see
your dealer for instructions on making a
warranty claim. Note: batteries shipped
with this product may have been subject
to long storage periods prior to final sale.
Batteries are provided as a convenience
only. Please source replacement
batteries locally. Dead or weak batteries
do not constitute a warranty claim.
