Indication
The MultiSpot® manual polymerisation unit has
been developed specifically for hardening and
pre-polymerisation of all light-cured materials used in
the laboratory. Thanks to its DWL system, the handy
cordless unit is particularly suitable for composites,
material for producing and repairing splints or
orthodontic work, for the activation of bonding/
adhesives, as well as for curing sealing lacquers and
blocking out material. Final softening in a stationary
light-curing unit, e. g. EyeVolution® or EyeVolution®
MAX is recommended after all tasks have been
completed.

ATTENTION! Please read these instructions carefully
before you start to use the unit. The operational safety
and function of the unit can only be guaranteed if
both the general safety and accident prevention
provisions issued by the statutory body and the safety
instructions in the operating manual are complied
with.
General information
1. The unit must only be used in accordance with the
current operating manual. We reject any liability for
damage caused by inappropriate use or errors during
operation.
2. Authorised operators: The person responsible for
running the machine must make the operating
manual available to the operator and ensure that it
has been read and understood by the operator. The

operator should only be permitted to use the unit once
this has been ascertained.
3. Prior to each use, the unit must be checked to
ensure it is functioning correctly and safely. The unit
must not be used and should be labelled accordingly
if is not function-ing perfectly.
4. You must only use the battery charger supplied
with the unit. Other chargers may damage the
rechargeable battery and cause it to fail.
5. Signs and adhesive labels must be maintained in
legible condition and should not be removed.
6. Only accessories and spare parts that have been
approved by the manufacturer should be used. We

reject any liability for damage caused by the use of
other components.
7. Unauthorised conversions and alterations are
prohibited for safety reasons.
8. The operational and maintenance conditions
stipulated in this instruction manual are mandatory.
The general accident prevention guidelines must be
adhered to when working with MultiSpot®.
Eye protection: Always avoid looking
directly at the LEDs and never point them
at other people. The intensity and
wavelengths can cause damage to the
eyes after prolonged direct visual contact. For safety
reasons, always only work with the mounted anti-glare
hood. People who are particularly sensitive should
also wear appropriate protective glasses.
Putting into operation
Fully charge the rechargeable battery supplied with
the unit before first use. Open the end cap of the
lamp by twisting it anticlockwise and insert the
rechargeable battery with its + pole pointing in the
direction of the LED until it makes contact. Screw
the end cap back on.
Operation

Press the start button to activate the LEDs.

Position the anti-glare hood as close as possible
the material requiring polymerisation.
The light ON time is limited to 20 sec, i. e., the
l
unit automati-cally shuts down after this time
interval. Press the start button twice to start a new
polymerisation process.
l
Ongoing polymerisation procedures can be
interrupted by pressing on the start button. In this
case, the start button only needs to be pressed
once to start a new process.
