    Fiber optical talk set is used during fiber cable installation, commissioning and repair, when other communications systems are inconvenient or not available. A pair of KI 023 Optical Talk Set, made up of a 1310 nm instrument & a 1550 nm instrument, provides convenient full duplex voice communication over a single optical fiber.

    KI 023 Talk Set User Manual 3.5. Optical Connector To insert fiber into the connector, pull dust cap out, and gently push fiber into the connector until it “clicks”. All standard instruments come with SC/PC optical connectors. If other connectors types are required, please specify while ordering the talk set.
