1 Mounting of electronic lock 7214

For safety reasons it is not allowed to install the electronic lock in the
area of aperature.
• 4 M6 screws are used to mount the electronic lock. To do so, pass the screws
through the mounting holes provided for this purpose, inserting from the bottom
side of the electronic lock case. To prevent autonomous screw loosing, it is advisable
to use lock washers. The screws should be tightened by a torque of max 10 Nm to
avoid malfunctions.
• After installation the bolt of the electronic lock must not be subjected to tention or
pressure. Max. force applied to the lock bolt 10 N.
• The connection points for the input unit and the battery case will be found on the
in-
spection sticker on the electronic lock.
• The electronic lock is maintenance-free when used in normal residential and office
enviroments. After 10.000 locking cycles it is advisable to have a security and function
check of the electronic lock carried out by a trained service technician.
• Failure to observe these installation instructions or opening the lock casing by
personal untrained will void the manufacture´s warranty.
