9. After the upgrade process is complete, the LCD screen backlight will stay on and the screen text
will be removed/very faded from the screen if you look at it straight on (see Figure 3).
10. Turn the camera to the Off position.
11. Press the EJECT button to eject the battery pack from the camera. Wait 5 seconds before re-‐
inserting the battery pack.
12. Re-‐insert the battery pack and slide the switch into the Test position.
13. The software version shown on the screen should now be V01.00.43 130023 (see Figure 4).
IMPORTANT: Make sure you put a freshly formatted SD card into your camera.
