Selecting Modeling Modes

The mode knob lets you select either the normal guitar or one of the modeling
modes (tonal characters).
Here are the modes:
Mode

In this non-modeling mode, your guitar uses its
three standard Strat pickups only and plays like a
standard Stratocaster® guitar.
In this modeling mode, the guitar plays with the
sound of a Stratocaster® guitar.
In the modeling mode, you now have the option
of a 12-string sound or several different alternate
tunings (p. 8).
In this modeling mode, the guitar plays with the
sound of a Telecaster® guitar.
In this modeling mode, your guitar plays with the
sound of two high output humbucking pickups;
one in the neck position and one in the bridge
position.
In this modeling mode, your guitar plays with the
warm, full sound of an acoustic guitar.
You can use the 5-way switch to switch between
variations including steel-string or nylon-string
acoustic guitar, and sitar.
In the Acoustic Mode, the tone control knob functions as the reverb
control on Steel-String Acoustic 1, 2, and Nylon-String Acoustic.
