    Wear an ESD-preventive wrist strap, ensuring that it makes good skin contact. Connect the clip to an unpainted surface of the TM-1000 to channel unwanted ESD voltages safely to ground. To guard against ESD damage and shocks, the wrist strap and cord must operate effectively.

    7. Upgrading the TM-1000 Firmware and license The TM-1000 starts from the local file system located on the flash memory. The flash memory comes with a version of the firmware available at production time. The Toolpack framework will update the firmware of the TM-1000 automatically to the installed Toolpack version.
