Use MirrorLink to connect your Phone to your car:
1
Enable the MirrorLink function on your in-car display before attempting to connect your device for
the first time. Please ensure that your Phone is connected to the Internet in order to download the
required MirrorLink certificates.
2
Connect your Phone and car using Bluetooth. From the Bluetooth settings page on your Phone, go
to Help > Vehicle to view instructions on how to connect.
3
Use a USB data cable to connect your Phone to your car. When the Disclaimer dialogue box
appears on your Phone, touch Agree, wait until the Terms of Service dialogue appears, and then
touch Agree, Phone again to connect to the car using MirrorLink.
If a prompt is not shown on your Phone after you connect it to your car, your car model may
not support MirrorLink or there could be an issue with your car's firmware. Please update your
car's firmware and try again.
4
If you are connecting your Phone to the car for the first time, wait until the prompt is shown,
remove and reinsert the USB data cable as instructed, and then proceed with step 3. Your Phone
should then connect to your car.
After establishing a MirrorLink connection, you can't adjust the Phone volume, but you can adjust
the car volume. Your Phone screen will switch off automatically, but will not lock.
Disconnect your Phone from your car: Disconnect the USB data cable that connects your Phone to
your car to terminate the MirrorLink connection. After disconnecting, your Phone's screen will turn on
