General Description:

The STB-12 Speaker/Transformer/Baffle Assembly consists of a complete speaker assembly
with an 8" omnidirectional full range speaker, multi-tapped transformer, perforated steel baffle,
and integral molded fiber enclosure. The STB-12 is capable of playing signal tones, voice, and
music audio.

Intended Use:

The STB-12 is intended for installation in an indoor environment, mounted parallel to the floor
plane. It replaces a common 24" by 24" tile used in a suspended ceiling that is 18' or less from
the floor.

Installation Instructions:

1.
Loosen but do not remove the screws on the cover plate. Push the plate up and remove it
from the assembly.
Note: Step Note: is only required if using a conduit clamp fitting other than what is provided with the
STB-12.
2.
Remove the cable/conduit clamp fitting from the plate. Install a UL Listed metallic
enclosure entry fitting for plenum cable or flex whip.
