M2-TRPD Tripod Mast - Assembly Instructions
This document describes how to assemble the M2-TRPD Weather Station Tripod mast.

Introduction

The M2-TRPD is a height adjustable 2m mast with tripod support legs and includes
ground stakes. It can be used with the GP1-WS-CA1 cross arm.
Note: the optional WS-GWSK Guy Wire Kit, if ordered, provides additional support for the
MW-TRPD. It includes a collar, steel wires, tensioning devices and ground stakes.

Note: In rugged terrain, ground work may be necessary in order to provide a stable base
for the tripod feet So you may need a spade, or pick axe etc.
Some users may wish to mount the tripod on concrete, or embedded in concrete, in which
case you will need to arrange to get the materials on site.

Warnings

Do not erect the mast close to power lines.
Stay at least 10 metres away from a power line.
If in doubt seek professional help from your local power company.
