Please read the enclosed information. This will help you to
understand the product in which you have invested and enable you to
get the most out of it.
Please take note of the safety warnings and as with all electrical
goods, do not attempt to open the product under any circumstances.
There are no user serviceable parts. All remedial work should be
referred back to Accusound.
Always protect your amplifier from damp. Any moisture on the
cabinet should be immediately dried using a cloth to prevent any from
entering the product through connector sockets or other points.
This unit must only be used with mains supply that has a protective
earth connection.

  • Page 2 The DI output is selectable between pre and post main volume control so a clean signal may be sent to your main amplification system if you are using the AMA-1 for monitoring. There are clipping indicators on each input, plus the output, to indicate when you are approaching the overload limit of the amplifier.
  • Page 3 The balanced DI output allows a clean signal to be sent to your main amplification system if you are using your AMA-1 as a stage monitor. The DI output signal is switchable from pre to post main volume control.

  • Page 5 Amplifier use Before switching on your amplifier, ensure all volume controls are at minimum and connect all inputs and outputs. Your instrument or microphone should be connected to input 1 or 2, each have the same facilities so you may chose either and achieve the full use of the amplifier.
  • Page 6 Amplifier use cont Bass/Mid/Treble: This three band tone control provides boost or cut in the three bands, BASS for low frequencies and TREBLE for the higher notes. The MID knob allows the middle band to be adjusted in a similar manner giving a much higher degree of control over the sound you produce.
  • Page 7 Amplifier use cont position of the “0/-20dB” button. If the output CLIP indicator illuminates RED, then the volume control knob should be turned counter-clockwise. Again this indicator gives the user plenty of warning that the level is approaching overload, if distortion is not heard then no action is required but be aware that if the level increases yet further then distortion may occur.
