    I . I N T R O D U C T I O N Read and follow all instructions, warnings, and notes in this manual before attempting to operate your power wheelchair for the first time. If there is any information in this manual which you do not understand, or if you require additional assistance for set up or operation, please contact us.

STRUCTURE AND PERFORMANCE Your power wheelchair mainly consists of the following parts:  Chair-Frame: It consists of a foldable component, which can be folded from the middle of the seat base in order to store or transport conveniently  Operating system: It consists of a controller, two battery boxes, two motors, a set of drive mechanisms and two drive wheels.

    III. ASSEMBLY 1. Take out your wheelchair from the packing box and put it on the ground. Push the chair-frame apart to the left and right, and press two tubes of on both sides of the seat base down into the groves on both sides of the chair-frame 2.

    IV. OPERATION Comfort Adjustments  Armrest Flipping Up and Down The armrest of this product can be flipped up for your convenience for getting on or off. Press the lever below the armrest to flip up the armrest, and then the user can get on from the side of the chair.
  • Page 8 2. Controller The controller is a key component for your wheelchair. All electronics to operate the wheelchair are housed in this controller. The controller consists of the following parts:  Joystick Speed Up Button On/Off Button Horn Button Speed Down Button Charger Socket The controller is usually housed on one of the armrests and connected to the batteries together with the motors.

  • Page 10 3. Drive and freewheel modes For your convenience, the wheelchair is equipped with two manual freewheel levers which are located respectively near the left and right wheels. The wheelchair is in freewheel mode when both freewheel levers are simultaneously in position. This allows the wheelchair to be pushed manually.

With it, the batteries of your wheelchair can be charged quickly and easily to make your wheelchair achieve its best. WARNING! You must charge your wheelchair’s batteries with the off-board charger supplies by ADP Wheelchairs.

  • Page 13 10. Folding and Storing of Wheelchair Please fold and store your wheelchair for transport and store as follows: 1) Put your wheelchair on the ground. Shut down the power and put the two manual freewheel levers in freewheel mode. 2) Turn up the footplates and rotate them 90 degrees outward and then pull the latch off the footplate and remove it.

    V. CARE AND MAINTENANCE 1. Care and Maintenance After Using  Shut down the power (Unplug all wiring connections is the best).  Inhibit children from touching the wheelchair.  Your wheelchair should be stored at room temperature in order for it to keep its normal performance for longer.
