It is recommended that factory manuals or instructions are followed to remove the fuel pump assembly from the vehicle. Some instructions in this guide are generic.
Page 3 1 – remove the OE pump connector harness and fuel level sender, the OE pump connector harness will be replaced by the supplied DW pump connector harness 2 – cut the smaller venturi outlet tube (1/8” ID) and remove the center section of the assembly by depressing the 3 tabs (circled in green) around the perimeter and pulling the center up and out of the bucket assembly.
