HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND USE THE PLAYPEN
1) Remove the playpen from the box. Place the playpen in a
vertical position, as shown in diagram 1.
2) Unfasten the Velcro straps located on the external part of
the mattress. Remove the playpen from the mattress.
3) Keeping the playpen in a vertical position, hold the two
opposite upper sides at the centre (diagram 2). Raise them
until they are locked in the horizontal position (diagram 3a).
Repeat the operation with the other two sides (diagram 3b).
Push the central part of the box bottom in a downward di -
rection, until it is locked into position (diagram 3c). Ensure
that all the four sides are locked correctly: place your hands
at the centre of the upper sides and exert a slight pressure in
a downward direction.
4) Cover the upper plastic corners with the fabric, fastening the
two sides with the Velcro straps (diagram 4).
5) Insert the mattress inside the playpen, taking care that the
movable side (I) is placed towards the side of the playpen
where the Velcro straps are located (see diagram 5).
6) Fix part I to the side of the playpen with the Velcro straps, as
shown in diagram 6.
7) The playmat has rent sensory activities:
• The whale's spray (D), shown in diagram 8, is made of spe -
cial crinkling fabric;
• The crab's legs (E), shown in diagram 9, crinkle;
• The star (F) and bubble (G), located on the movable part (I),
are made of special fabric that helps the development of the
child's tactile skills (see diagrams 10 and 11);
• The hide-and-seek pocket (H) can be raised from the play-
mat to stimulate the child's sense of adventure and discove -
ry (see diagram 12). It can be used to hide your child's small
toys.
8) One of the mesh sides of the playpen can be fully opened
with the zip (diagram 13), enabling the child to easily enter
and leave the playpen.
WARNING: When the child is inside the playpen, the zip must
be completely fastened with the sliders in the low position, as
shown in diagram 14.

HOW TO REMOVE THE COVER

To remove the fabric cover of the mattress, proceed as
follows.
9) Remove the playmat from the playpen and place the printed
side facing the oor. Open the Velcro straps located at the
rear (diagram 15), and remove the four wooden staves from
their pockets (diagram 16). The mattress is now ready to be
washed.
10) When the mattress is completely dry, replace the wooden
staves in their pockets, located at the rear, and fasten the
Velcro straps. Replace the mattress on the bottom of the
playpen (as described in points 5 and 6).
HOW TO CLOSE THE PLAYPEN
To close the playpen, proceed as follows.
11) Remove the mattress and 3D animal characters from the
playpen. Place the mattress onto a horizontal surface, facing
upwards; then fold the soft side (I) inside (diagram 17).
12) To close the playpen more easily, it is necessary to unfa -
sten the Velcro straps, located on the upper corners of the
playpen, and pull apart the fabric edges.
13) Raise the central handle, located on the bottom of the mat-
tress, by approximately 30 centimetres. While keeping the
handle raised, press the buttons located on the upper sides
of the playpen, one at a time (diagram 18). Warning: The
buttons are located exactly at the centre of the lower part of
the tubes. To make the closing operations easier, it is recom -
mended to hold the side, as shown in diagram 18, and press
each button to its full extent.
14) Push the legs towards the centre, until they are as close as
possible to each other (diagram 19).
15) Place the folded playpen onto the mattress. Wrap the mat -
tress around the playpen and close it, inserting the Velcro
straps into the plastic rings (diagram 20).
16) Place the playpen in the vertical position and insert the two
3D animal characters into the upper hollow space (diagram
21). One of the external sides of the mattress has a fabric
handle (diagram 22), which is ideal for carrying the playpen
when closed.
