16.6 Mounting kit for mountable vernier scales for 2 axes and spindle Y-axis
16.6.2 Mounting the bracket for the mountable vernier scales
16. Hold the two pre-mounted vernier brackets (25) and (30) as shown and attach them with the two previously
dismantled screws (11).
17. Hold the bracket for the mountable Y-axis vernier scale (16) on the clamping bracket (12) as shown
18. From below, screw the two screws (17) through the 2 holes created in the clamping bracket (12) using a 10 mm
spanner .
1. Insert the bracket for the mountable X-axis vernier scale (22) into the front of the T-groove of the top slide (1) from
the left as shown
2. Use 2 screws (21) to clamp it in the upper slide.
3. Equivalently insert the bracket for the right-hand mountable X-axis vernier scale (24) into the T-groove from the right
side
4. Use a 3 mm hexagon socket wrench to clamp it with 2 screws (21)
5. Tighten the screws (21) only slightly because during assembly of the mountable vernier scale, the two
mountable vernier scales X-left (22) and X-right (24) must be adjusted in height.
