P/N 62260 – WIRE CRIMPING TOOL
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

To crimp spark plug wire terminals:

1. Cut wire to length (add 1" for stripping).
2. Lubricate wire with silicone and slide the proper nipples and boots over the
wire. Be sure to wipe off excess silicone.
3. Strip the ends of wire ½" using the required stripping hole for your application.
4. Fold conductor over wire and insert terminal shank with conductor touching
terminal. Keep stripped conductor out of area where clamp ears meet when
crimped. (Illustration #1)

5. Place wire and terminal in proper crimping position of tool and crimp firmly.

Illustration below demonstrates correct tool use for 90° terminals, and for 180°
terminals.
