BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
• Dispose of the old batteries
properly. Do not dispose of the old
batteries in a fire.
Automatic Wine
• Do not leave the batteries lying
Preserver
around where a young child or pet
could play with or swallow them. If
the batteries are swallowed,
contact a physician immediately.
• The batteries may explode if
mistreated. Do not attempt to
recharge or disassemble the
batteries.
• Use only fresh batteries of the
required size and type. Do not
mix old and new batteries, different
types of batteries, or rechargeable
batteries of different capacities.

USING THE WINE PRESERVER
1. Slide the Wine Preserver straight
down onto the neck of the open
bottle of wine so that the rubber

vacuum seal stopper is snug.
2. To activate the pump, press and
hold the TEMP/DAY button for 3
seconds.

3. The LCD backlight will illuminate
and 1, 2, 3 then 4 zeros will blink
on the LCD screen.
4. When the pump stops, the LCD
backlight will turn off and the
screen will revert to the ambient

temperature.
5. Over time, air will slowly enter
the stoppered wine bottle. The
Wine Preserver will automatically
engage to keep air out of
the bottle.
Note: To save battery life, you may
turn the Wine Preserver on and off
manually so it does not automatically
engage.
6. An automatic counter tracks how
many days the Wine Preserver has
been on the bottle. Press and
release the TEMP/DAY button to
view the number of days. Press
again to view the temperature
7. When the Wine Preserver is
removed from a bottle, press and
hold the TEMP/DAY button for 3
seconds to turn it off.
Important! The pump will deactivate
if the Wine Preserver is tipped to an
angle of 45º or greater.
