IMPORTANT NOTE: For UCD-C, under counter filters with ceramic pre-filter, it is necessary to remove the
bubble wrap from the ceramic cartridge and insert ceramic filter into the housing on the inlet side of the filter (red
tubing). Insert the cartridge with screen side facing the threaded opening. If installed improperly, no water will
pass through the filter. Simply remove cartridge and re-insert correctly.

Find a convenient location under the sink on the cold water side to place the filter. The system is only to
be supplied with cold water.

The faucet spigot should be secured through an existing hole in the sink ledge (such as a sprayer or soap
dispenser) or a ½" hole can be drilled in the desired location. If you have a porcelain sink, you might
consider having a professional do the drilling, or install the faucet into the countertop, back from the sink
ledge.

- Page 3 The EZ Faucet Adapter gives you a quick and easy water supply for your water filter. It provides full flow - great for homes with low water pressure. Unlike typical saddle valves which puncture your supply line, the EZ Faucet Adapter does not damage your plumbing and can be easily removed! It works on faucets with threaded studs, or with copper stubs with threaded fittings.
