    Audio Sentinel ® +»Web Installation and Operation Manual Remote Control Connections The Audio Sentinel® has one remote control input labelled “EXT” (external) which can be configured for either toggle or sustained closure control. In toggle mode each time this input is pulled to ground, the unit toggles between channels one and two. In sus- tained mode the EXT input will immediately trigger and switch to the backup source until released.

The slow blinking front panel “PWR/Heartbeat” LED indicates valid power and proper operation. The front panel is also equipped with two LED’s (Valid Audio x) to indicate when valid stereo or dual-monaural audio is detected for each channel.
