RR-9000 Installation Guide

Introduction

The following is a list of instructions to follow when setting up your RR-9000 hardware on PC
workstations, for use with TourTrax.NET.

Step 1: Install the software

In order for your Guard Tour equipment to "talk" to and deliver information to TourTrax.NET you must
install the software on your PC.
Important:
Before you begin- make sure the computer has the Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 installed!
This software component is required in order for the software to work. Also, please note that the
downloader software requires that TCP Port 80 be accessible to/from the Internet. Assistance from your
IT Network Administrator may be required to accomplish this.
1. Download the RR-9000 Autodownloader software, and extract the zip file's contents to a folder
on the workstation.
2. Run the RR-9000 Autodownloader setup program.
click on the setup application and choose "Run As Administrator").
3. Click on "next" to all steps (making sure the Server is set to rr9000.tourtrax.net and the Port is
set to 80) then "Finish". During the process, the drivers will also be installed automatically.

Step 2: Plug In The Downloader

Connect the downloader to the computer via the included USB port. The drivers should be installed
automatically, however if they aren't- a copy of them can be manually installed from the included
\Drivers\ folder.
