Quick Start Guide

This document is intended to give you the minimum information needed to
configure your router, and is for Windows operating systems only. Should
you require more information, or information on how to configure the
Mega 100WR using an alternative operating system, please view the file
\manual\mega 100WR... on the CD ROM supplied with this router.
Your Mega 100WR package should contain these items. For any missing
items, please contact Telkom immediately.

There are 3 different ways to connect you Mega 100WR to an ADSL enabled
telephone line. Choose the one that suits you best In all cases, the telephone line
must be connected via the surge protection in the LPU.
A)Without a telephone
B)With a telephone using a double telephone socket
C)With a telephone using a single telephone outlet
USB cable
Telephones used on ADSL enabled telephone lines
must ALWAYS be connected using a microfilter,
even when connected to a different telephone outlet
to the one that the router is connected to.
LPU
The Mega 100WR is powered through a LPU.
Please plug the 3 pin mains plug on the other end of the LPU
into a mains outlet.
CAUTION
Use only the supplied power adaptor (LPU) !
Use of any other adaptor may damage the router !

Switch on your Mega 100WR.

Insert the Utility CD that came with your Mega 100WR into your CD-ROM
Drive. (If you don't see the screen show below, then you will have to access the
CD-ROM and run \ .
setup.exe)
The Setup Wizard will guide you through the rest of the installation process.
Please click on Setup Wizard
NOTE: The Wizard will prompt you when you are required to
connect the router to your computer. Follow the relevent part of
the next section (on the other side of this page) when prompted
