Three wheel bicycle – tricycle
„Sparite" instruction manual
Dear customers!
This bicycle provides stability and feeling safe especially on
uneven surfaces, because it does not create sharp toppling
and overturn risks unlike two wheel bicycles with additional
wheels. A child quickly learns to ride a traditional bicycle,
because this bicycle has a chain drive mechanism instead of
traditional front wheel drive.
Carefully read and remember
Never leave child on three wheel bicycle without
supervision.
Do not let the child ride on car drive lanes, close to water
drains, stairs and other places dangerous to safety of
children.
Carefully follow in hilly landscapes, because when riding
from hill there is a possibility of speed increase not suitable
for your child.
Safety requirements
Before putting a child on three wheel bicycle carefully read
instruction manual!
Non‐compliance with requirements of instructions can
affect your safety and technical condition of the three wheel
bicycle.
Your three wheel bicycle meets factory standards and is not
designed for purposes which are not related to riding.
Check the front wheel axle nuts before operation. The
torque must be tight.
Do not allow child to touch wheel mechanism, pedal
mechanism, chain and other mechanically moving parts
when three wheel bicycle is moving.
Handlebar and saddle tubes can be tightened by a clamp
which is located on its base part. Carefully but tightly tighten
the clamp in necessary height. Do not over‐tighten the
clamp.
Check if saddle and handlebar extension height is adjusted
properly, they must not be higher than specified mark!
Saddle and handlebar extension height is adjusted properly
if sitting on three wheel bicycle both legs are completely
straight and the ground can be touched only by tips of the
toes.
Chain tensioning
1. Unscrew and take off frontal part of chain guard.
2. Loosen (but do not remove completely) bolt, nut of the
clamp of the pedal mechanism.
3. Put a circle spanner wrench or pliers on pedal mechanism
– eccentric bushing (together with metal casing) where is a
notch and turn eccentric bushing as necessary. When the
centre of pedal axle moves away from rear axle of three
wheel bicycle the chain tension increases but when it comes
closer to rear axle the chain tension decreases.
4. Tighten pedal mechanism bolt and nut.
5. Tighten the rear part of chain guard; if necessary
(unscrew chain guard fastening bolts).
6. Verify that the chain is tensioned enough and does not
rub.
7. Put on the chain guard frontal part and fasten with a
screw.
