How to replace drive belt

To replace the drive belt on a Home-tek HT807 handheld vacuum cleaner, follow these steps:

1. Remove the Brush Safety Cover – Hinge it forward and spring it off the edge using slight sideways pressure.
2. Remove the Casing Screw – It is adjacent to the silver shield cover. Once removed, slide the shield down 3-4mm and lift it away.
3. Remove the End Cover Screws – Two screws secure the end cover where the flexible hose fits. One screw goes through the wheel. Note the position and number of washers.
4. Lift Away the End Cover – This exposes the brush roller.
5. Remove the Brush Roller – Lift it out of the brush chamber. The brush bearing cap has a hexagonal end that should be noted for reassembly.
6. Clean the Brush and Bearing Caps – Remove any debris.
7. Install the New Belt – Thread it over the brush roller.
8. Reinsert the Brush Roller – Ensure the hexagonal end is positioned correctly in the brush chamber.
9. Replace the End Cover – Ensure it is properly aligned.
10. Reassemble the Vacuum – Secure all screws and covers.

This completes the belt replacement process.
