Notifications panel
The Notifications panel provides quick access
to alerts including new messages, emails and
software updates.
• Tap the top of the home screen and drag your
finger down to see the Notifications panel.
• Tap
to access Wi-FI, Bluetooth, and other
settings.
• Swipe right to clear individual notifications or
tap Remove
to clear all.

To update and use apps
1. From the main home screen, tap Play Store
2. Tap Play Store menu key

5. Once installed, you will see a notification in
the Notifications panel. Open the app from
this notification or by locating the app in the
App tray

Set wallpaper
T o change your home or
lock screen wallpaper, press
and hold a blank part of
the home screen and follow
on-screen instructions.
Add to home screen

home screen.
T o move an icon, press and
hold it and drag it to a new

Organizing home screens
P ress and hold an icon and
drag it to Folder
. To keep your stuff together
just how you like, drag additional icons to add
them to an existing folder.
T o rename a folder, tap it and then tap the name
to bring up the keyboard.
Create new home screens
F rom the home screen, pinch two fingers quickly
together. Tap Plus
on the blank screen.
Access recently viewed apps and content
P ress and hold the Menu Key

1. From the home screen,
tap Play Store

account or create one

From Play Store, you will have
multiple ways to search for

organized by popularity
or category.

tap Phone

2. Select an option to place
a call:

telephone number.
C all log: Return or retry
a call.

Check voicemail
1. From the home screen,
tap Phone
.
2. Press and hold the 1 key
.
Use call waiting
Call waiting helps you answer
or hold a call while you are on an existing call.
1. While on a call, you will hear a tone if another
call comes in.
2. Answer the new call. Your current call will
automatically be placed on hold.
3. Tap
to switch between active calls.
Camera and video
Take a picture
1. From the home screen,
tap Camera
.
2. Tap Settings
to adjust
your camera settings. Zoom
in and out by pinching with
your fingers or by using the
Volume Keys.
3. Tap the Shutter button
to take a photo.
View pictures
1. From the home screen,
tap the App tray

2. Tap Gallery

Take a video
1. In camera mode, tap
the Camera/camcorder
slider
to switch to the
camcorder.
