This section lists some of these dangerous operations in alphabetical order, together with the materials and the relevant equipments. The necessary precautionary rules to avoid these risks are pointed out.

Asbestos dust to be wasted should first be dampened, then put into a sealed container with a special label to be sure that it will be wasted in a safe way.

Regular inspections shall be carried out when reaching respectively : 50 , 100, 200 , 600 ,1000 and 1200 flight hours.

  • Page 48 MAINTENANCE MANUAL STORM Century S-LSA 3.1.2 FLAP CONTROL An electric actuator installed inside the central console (for checking remove the central cover) controls the flaps on four positions: 0° - 10° - 20° - 35°. The flaps are moved by two rigid rod between the wing and the fuselage. The pilot may select the suitable flap position with the switch installed in the center console.

Empty tank completely using the bleeding screw under the tank on the decantation tank; open also the bleeding screw under the gascolator. CAUTION: keep fire extinguisher within reach when draining the tank, take all necessary precautionary measures, keep the area ventilated.
