User Manual – Indoor Air Quality Controller IAQH-C Page ModBus General The ModBus protocol was developed for the data exchange between information processing units, programmable logic controllers and other intelligent systems. A master computer communicates with maximum 247 connected devices via a serial data link of RS-485 standard. There is only one device (host, master) per bus line determining the telegramming. -
