Turn adjusting wheel [2] to the lowest position.
Release the four screws [3] of the blade supporting plates [4] at the blade support [5] by using the enclosed hexagon screwdriver,
but do not completely unscrew them.
Insert the thermocutter blade (see fi gure) into the slot between the holders. This is facilitated by turning the left hand side of the
thermocutter downwards, so that the blade supporting plates are slightly lowered.
Tighten the screws again.
Only now connect to the power supply. Always unplug to change blades.
Press heating switch [7].
Turn the thermocutter blade towards the work piece and slowly set higher position [2] of the adjusting wheel. The red light [8] starts
to fl ash, the intensity of the light increases simultaneously with the increasing thermocutter capacity.
Toggle switch [9] is required for larger blades. Operate the switch [9] if red light [8] fl ashes !
Do not make the thermocutter blade glow red. Tighten screws after the blade head has been heated up during operation.
Regularly clean the blade contact surfaces with the enclosed steel brush, in order to ensure a good contact between the
thermocutter blade and the blade support.
Disconnect the power supply for blade replacement.
The thermocutter automatically stops before a thermal overload occurs. The red light is extinguished. Work can be continued as
soon as the thermocutter has cooled down.
Opening of the thermocutter housing is prohibited. Interventions of unauthorized persons result in the loss of any warranty claims.
Avoid a direct short-circuit between the two blade supports (5). Do not use metal rulers for blade guides.
