Allow to warm to normal operation temperature.
Hold the soldering tip to the wire to be soldered.
Allow wire to heat to a degree warm enough to melt solder.
Touch solder to wire and let wire absorb melted solder.

Unplug soldering iron when complete.
Always wear safety eye protection when using tools. Always read and follow operating instructions
where applicable. Always disconnect power at source before working on electrical items. Do not leave
soldering iron unattended while in use. Always rest a hot soldering iron on the stand to prevent risk of
fire.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical
shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in
any way.
All of our products are packaged with a stand. We strongly urge users to always rest a hot iron on the
specially designed stand to prevent risk of fire. If the stand is not used, the heated tip will tilt and may
burn any objects that it comes in contact with which will result in a fire hazard.
DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER
Soldering irons are safe tools. Your Mag-Torch solder iron is UL-US Listed. It complies with all relevant
safety regulations. As with any electrical appliance, it must be handled with proper care. Be aware, that the
soldering tip reaches very high temperatures, do not touch. Do not alter the plug in any way. Do not use if
power cord appears to be damaged or frayed, as electric shock or fires may result.
