The MAC (Mobile Aquatic Chair) is designed to facilitate transfers to and from a pool via an ADA compliant ramp. Using a MAC will save wear and tear on a user’s everyday wheelchair as the MAC is specifically designed to be immersed in water. The MAC has been designed to assist users to enter and exit a swimming pool or spa, and it is not intended for everyday use. -

Seat Assembly- The seat is manufactured from roto-molded plastic with a stainless steel frame. The MAC comes standard with a seat belt for added safety. The seat belt must be used during operation. It is recommended that the seat be rinsed off with fresh water between each use and cleansed daily with a disinfectant solution of 1:100 dilution of household bleach to fresh water and then rinsed with fresh water. -

Manual Wheel. 6. With the MAC resting upright on its wheels make sure both brakes function properly. The brakes are mounted at the factory. Make sure both brakes are located so that they fully restrict movement of the Manual Wheels when applied. -

User. If the MAC will be used by a disabled person living on their own, a communication device should be installed in the area of use to call for assistance in the event of an emergency. -

All electronic and motor components, with the exception of batteries, have a full two (2) year warranty. Within the warranty period, S.R.Smith will repair or replace any item deemed to be found defective. Lift batteries come with a one-year pro-rated warranty. -
