Attaching an accessory • The SDS-plus tool holder enables accessories to be changed simply and quickly. The SDS-plus tool holder allows the drill bit to slide back and forth, which means that it wobbles when it is not under load.

    OPERATING PROCEDURE CAUTION: • Do Not expose either the electical tool or charger to rain or water. • Do not overcharge the battery as this could damage the battery cells. • Do not force the tool. If the tool is laboring, it is possible that the battery power is low.

    GENERAL • This tool is intended for use with 1/2in. drive impact sockets for loosening ond tightening nuts and bolts. Its impacts help to turn stiff fasteners. • To prolong the life of the tool, do not use it continuously for more than 20 minutes at a time.

    Adjusting the footplate The footplate can be tilted up to 45˚ to the right or left. 1. Undo the two socket head footplate locking screws. 2. Pull the footplate backwards and set the desired angle. 3. Tighten the locking screws to secure the footplate.     Changing the saw blade The saw blade can either be fitted with the teeth along the bottom edge of the blade or with them along the top edge of the blade. Fitting the blade with the teeth along the bottom edge is usually preferable, but for some tasks it is sometimes better to have the teeth along the top edge.

    Sawing flush to a surface Handy hint: By using a flexible bi-metal saw blade you can saw right up to the edge of a surface. This is useful when sawing off pipes protruding from a wall for example. • Lay the side of the saw blade flat against the surface/wall and tilt the saw so that the side of the footplate rests against the surface/wall.
