Mix-iT may be connected directly to the computer running vMix, or can be connected via a network switch. After the network settings are made, Mix-iT can be used to control vMix right away. By mapping buttons and rotaries, you can fine-tune it to your needs. -

Power over Ethernet. The panel now tries to connect to vMix, if this succeeds the Mix-iT model is shown in the LCD. If no connection can be established, a message appears in the screen. Check cabling and IP settings. -

192.168.10.210 for the vMix PC 2. Mix-iT IP address If you enter this menu entry, you can change the IP Address of the Mix-it. You should enter an address that differs from the vMix address, but it must be located in the same subnet. - Page 9 5. Gateway Address This address is only used if the vMix PC and Mix-iT are not located in the same subnet. The default value for the gateway address is 192.168.10.1 6. Save & Exit This entry allows you to save the changed IP parameters. If you made any changes, the Mix-iT will now restart, and connect, using the new parameters.

Button map menu By clicking rotary 2, you enter the button menu. In this menu, you can tailor the Mix-iT to your needs. 1. Map busses Traditionally, in broadcast switchers you make use of a preview bus (row of buttons) to prepare a shot, and a program bus that shows the selected shot In the 'map busses'- entry, you can change this arrangement of the busses, for example when you have a lot of titles that you want to select directly. -

To use a shortcut, you enter the vMix menu Setting - shortcuts Now click 'add' , in the window 'find'. Press the button on Mix-iT that you want to assign. Netx, you can set which fiunhction you want to start, and with what input it should be performed. -

Update firmware The current version of the firmware can be checked in the Mix-iT with rotary 1 - IP config menu, entry 8 - version info, this shows the vMix version and Mix-iT fw version. The Mix-iT firmware can be updated via Ethernet. First you need to download a zip-file containing the firmware file together with the update tool for your PC or Mac from the Mix-iT website - suport. -
