AIR PURIFIER FILTERS: LEVEL 1: WASHABLE PARTICLE FILTER The purpose of the foam particle filter is to extend the life of the HEPA filter by removing large particles before they get to the HEPA filter. You will find visible dust, hair and lint in the particle filter. -

The UV bulb is designed to provide approximately one-year continuous operation. After one year, the UV Light’s effectiveness is greatly reduced. For maximum protection, Crane recommends replacing after a year or if the blue UV light does not illuminate when the UV switch is ON. -
