UNDERSTOOD BEFORE USING THE WALKER Product Description The Z-Tec walkers have been designed to be used by a range of clients whose mobility has been reduced by a disability or chronic illness. Suitability of these walkers can vary from a permanent disability such as arthritis or a stroke, to a chronic illness such as polio or a spi- nal chord injury.
Assembling the Walker NOTE: The brakes are factory set & may not require initial adjustment. For technical assistance on the brakes, contact your local Z- Tec dealer. Remove all packaging from the walker. Unfold Walker & Press Locking Bar Star Loc Knob Extend Frame ready for normal use.

Make up Basket & Fit Tray. Place Basket & Tray onto Walker Unpack Basket & Tray Basket laid flat after unpacking. Locating tabs to clip basket together when assembling. Fully assembled basket Securing hook located on walker This will assist in reducing any movement in the basket during normal use.

Brakes n.b. The brakes are preset and adjustment should only be necessary if the brakes become loose or no longer function correctly. These levers are to be used by hand only. These brakes are NOT to be used as a means of slowing the walker or bringing it to a stop, they are a parking brake only.
You must not make any unauthorized adaptations or changes to your walker as this may cause your walker to become instable. You must not exceed the maximum user capacity of 120kg for this walker. If you are unsure of any details indicated here, please consult with a qualified person e.g. Authorised Z-Tec Dealer Care and Maintenance In order to get the most from your walker it is recommended to take care of it and carry out regular checks and maintenance.
Warranty Z-Tec products are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase, this warranty is not transferable. Should any part of the product require repair or full replacement as a result of a manufacturing or material defect within the warranty period, parts will be supplied free of charge.
