Please Note
• It is normal to hear a faint click in the hearing protection when you press and
release the transmission key (PTT) on a communication radio.
• Make sure that any communication radio antenna is more than 10 cm from the
hearing protection to minimize disruptions.
Connection to Smartphone
Smartphone functionality is operated by pushing the volume wheel on the left side
straight inwards. This is called the SMART-button.
Connection to mobile phone:
1. Ensure there is batteries in the product.
2. Turn the headset on by turning the volume wheel on the right side.
3. Push the SMART-button and hear the connection-in-progress signal.
4. Search for connectable device on the mobile phone.
5. Connect to "Hunter SMART".
6. You are ready to listen to streamed music and make phone calls from the
Hunter SMART™ headset.
Smartphone operation is mainly from the mobile phone. Some functions are operated
with the SMART-button.
The active surround sound is turned off when music is streamed or a phone call is in
progress, otherwise it is turned on.
The SMART-button is controlling "Play" and "Pause" during music streaming. If music is
streamed and a phone call is answered the music will be continued after the call is ended.
An incoming phone call is alerted with a sound in the Hunter SMART™ headset and
on your phone. The call can be answered and hung up either on the mobile phone or
on the SMART-button on the headset.
Charging of rechargeable batteries in Hunter SMART™
OBS:
ONLY intended for Ni-MH.
The charging circuit is
or Li-ion batteries. The batteries that is included at purchase is not rechargeable.
Rechargeable batteries shall be AAA, Ni-MH, 1.2V. The connected charger shall be
for Android mobile phone 5 V / 500mA with a Micro-USB connector. The batteries
shall be placed as indicated in the battery shaft and in the same way as during normal
operation. The charging is started by connecting the charger to the Micro-USB connector
and turning the headset on.

Important user information

• Hearing protection and cushions may deteriorate with time and should be examined
periodically for cracks or sound leakage.
• We recommend to replace the cushions twice a year to ensure a constant level of
attenuation, hygiene and comfort.
• Clean the hearing protector with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or
solvents. Do not immerse the hearing protector in water.
• Use only the original cables that are suited for this hearing protection and your two
way radio. Incorrect wiring can damage the radio or hearing protection and then
the warranty expires.
• Remove the batteries when the hearing protector is stored for a longer period to
avoid battery leakage.

Warranty

The warranty period is 24 months, unless otherwise specified, from the date the
product was purchased. The warranty validity must be supported by an invoice or
cash receipt on which / what date of purchase to be shown. If errors are discovered
during the warranty period, contact your dealer. This warranty does not cover normal
wear or failure due to accident, abnormal usage, neglected maintenance, improper
maintenance, improper voltage, modification, intervention or repair carried out by
non-authorized service center. Warranty is void if failure caused by use of accesso-
ries other than original. If the cash receipt or description of the defect is missing, the
product is not under warranty.
