Package Checklist 1-1 Overview The new and more powerful Husky Series HUG-800GSEN is an Industrial 8-ports Slim Unmanaged Full Gigabit Ethernet Switch that which supports IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3ab/802.3x with 10/100/1000Mbps, full/half duplex and MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing RJ-45 ports. The compact switch is equipped wide range redundant dual power input 12/24/48VDC and alarm relay contact, with IP30 compact size robust enclosure for easy installation.
There is no Ethernet connection 2-3 DIP Switch There is DIP switch located on the top panel of HUG-800GSN & HUG-800GSEN. It provides setup options on power alarm, EEE (Green Ethernet) and broadcast storm protection (BSP), and these functions as described in the table below.
Hardware Installations 2-4.1 RJ-45 Pin Assignments All ports on HUG-800GSN & HUG-800GSEN support automatic MDI/MDI-X function, users can use straight-through cables (see figure below) for all network connections to PCs or servers, or to other switches or hubs. When auto MDI/MDI-X is enabled, both type of cable can be used and the interface automatically corrects any incorrect cabling.
