1) Remove Lens Extension Adapter, put camera Mode Dial on "P" and
make sure that the camera is manually zoomed in all of the way.
2) Working distance is about 4 feet.
3) I have found better results with the patient sitting upright and the
photographer standing.
a) You can more easily control angle of the camera to the face and
b) People often look better looking up because you see less flab below
their chin.
4) You may want to place a backdrop (see below) behind the patient's
head. I recommend a gray foam board attainable at an office supply
store.
5) Focus first, get a big "cheesy" full broadcast smile, then take the picture.
