Don‘t use bread taken directly from freezer, let it melt it so that the moisture ratio equals to one day old bread.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE MEASURES The bread is too toasted from below. The bread is too moisture or too cold. Use only at least one day old and room temperatured bread.
