Authentication PIN Whenever an application wants you to authenticate yourself, it first asks for your authentication PIN. This can be a standard application or a web- application using SSL. (eg. HTTPS ://...) the authentication pin protects the authentication key on your eID card. After entering the pin, press to confirm. -
