8.1 Can my HUAWEI MediaPad 10 Link+ function as a
USB host? Can it work with an external USB flash drive,
mouse, or printer?
Your HUAWEI MediaPad 10 Link+ can function as a USB host. You can connect it to a USB
flash drive, mouse, or keyboard using a USB On-The-Go (OTG) cable. However, it cannot be
connected to a printer.
8.2 How do I transfer files between my HUAWEI
MediaPad 10 Link+ and a PC?
You can connect your HUAWEI MediaPad 10 Link+ to a PC in Media device (MTP),
Camera (PTP), HiSuite or USB storage device mode and synchronize data between them.
When you connect your HUAWEI MediaPad 10 Link+ to the PC using a USB cable for the
first time and you are prompted to install a driver, follow the onscreen instructions to install it.
From the dialog displayed on your HUAWEI MediaPad 10 Link+, select one of the following
connection modes:

Device connection and data sharing
Some peripheral devices may require separate power supplies.
Media device (MTP): In this mode, you can access files on your HUAWEI MediaPad
10 Link+ (including data in the internal storage and microSD card) by opening your PC's
new disk drive and transfer files between your HUAWEI MediaPad 10 Link+ and the PC.
You can also open media files on your HUAWEI MediaPad 10 Link+ using Windows
Media Player.
If the PC runs Windows XP or earlier, you must first install Windows Media Player 11 to use MTP
mode.
Camera (PTP): In this mode, you can access photos saved to the internal storage of
HUAWEI MediaPad 10 Link+ by opening your PC's new disk drive and transfer those
photos between HUAWEI MediaPad 10 Link+ and the PC.
