Traffic Information

Some stations transmit traffic messages,
describing the current traffic situation, besides
12
standard RDS data. This information is
displayed when button
radio is tuned to a station which does not
transmit traffic information, it will search for
one, displaying TP SEEK
If no station transmitting traffic information is
found, NO INFO is displayed. The radio stays
tuned to the original station.
Incoming traffic messages automatically
interrupt the sound of a CD or other station
broadcasts. TRAFFIC is displayed.
Trafic information within the RDS- EON
network RDS- EON (Enhanced Other
Networks) links certain stations so that the
traffic information transmitted by one station
can be received while another station is tuned
in. If any problems prevent the traffic
information from being received, the sound
will be muted and the
displayed.
