Retrieve Codes

Connect the FixAdvisor Pro (with the appropriate OBD1
adapter attached, as necessary) to the vehicle's test
connector.
NOTE: OBD1 functionality is optional, and may not
be available with all tools.
Turn the ignition key "On." DO NOT start the engine.
The tool will automatically link to the vehicle's computer.
For OBD2 vehicles ONLY: When vehicle data has been retrieved, the Select System
screen displays. Use the UP
Global OBD2 + FixAssist, then press the ENTER

View Results

The FixAdvisor Pro retrieves stored codes, Freeze
Frame data and System Status.
Codes, I/M Monitor Status and Freeze Frame data are
displayed on the FixAdvisor Pro's display screen. System
Status is indicated by LED indicators.
If a recommended solution for the "priority" DTC is
available, the Fix Assist screen for the DTC displays. The
screen shows recommended inspection and repair actions
to correct the malfunction that caused the DTC to be set.
If more than one DTC was retrieved, press and release
the DTC/FF button, as necessary. Freeze Frame Data (if
available) will be displayed after the Priority Code by
pressing the DTC/FF button.
In the case of long code definitions, or when viewing
Freeze Frame Data, use the UP
buttons, as necessary, to view the additional information.

View Enhanced Data

To view Enhanced data (if available), press the SYSTEM
button; the Select System menu displays. The
Enhanced mode provides the ability to retrieve ABS
DTCs, SRS DTCs, and OEM Enhanced DTCs from most
Chrysler/Jeep, Ford/Mazda, GM/Isuzu, Honda/Acura and
Toyota/Lexus vehicles.

View Live Data

Place the FixAdvisor Pro in "Code Retrieval" mode. Start
the engine.
Press and release the LD button to place the FixAdvisor
Pro in "Live Data" mode. Real-time Live Data (PID)
information supported by the vehicle under test displays.
