1. DESCRIPTION

The
is a digital thermostat for solar heating that controls
Microsol FL T Advanced
a water circulation pump through the temperature differential between the solar collector
and the pool. It also features an auxiliary output, linked to the clock and events schedule,
through which the pool can be filtered at predefined times. The controller includes
functions to prevent overheating and freezing of water on the solar collector. Protected
access to configuration parameters is also provided.
The
line is characterized by its unique design for use in
Microsol Advanced
residential environments, by the easiness of operation with keys for easy access to the
controller's main resources and by the use of the custom display. The display technology
employed allows presenting in a complete and simple manner the solar heating system's
information, such as: output status, pump operation mode, and sensor position and
temperature.

2. APPLICATION

- Solar heating and filtering for pools.

5. OPERATIONS FOR DOMESTIC USER

5.1 KEY MAP

The controller has easy-access to user resources. Contains table with description of the
following:
Short touch: adjust the pool/reservoir heating temperature
SET
Long touch (4 seconds): access to advanced settings
SET
Long touch (see F19 parameter): enables/disables function block
Short touch: switches temperature display (DIF, T1, T2) for 10 seconds
Short touch: switches pump mode (OFF / AUT / MAN)
F
Short touch: changes filtering mode (AUT / MAN)
F
Long touch (4 seconds): enables/disables filtering (OFF) mode
Short touch: accesses hour and day settings menu
Long touch: (4 seconds): accesses settings menu for event schedule

5.2 POOL/RESERVOIR HEATING TEMPERATURE (SENSOR T2)

Sets the comfort temperature of the pool or thermal reservoir. After reaching this
SET
temperature, the water circulation pump is turned off, avoiding thermal discomfort.
To adjust this parameter, short press the SET button. Use the
adjust the value. To confirm, short press the SET button and the value will be
saved in the controller memory. This parameter can be adjusted between 0.0 and
105 °C or between 32 and 221 °F.

5.3 WATER PUMP OPERATION MODE

For every short touch on
key the water pump operation mode is switched. The water
circulation pump between the solar collector and the thermal reservoir can operate in three
distinct modes. A description follows:
PUMP
OFF = Circulation pump always turned off
off
AUT = Circulation pump in automatic mode
PUMP
AUT
operating according to parameter settings
MAN = Circulation pump turned on
PUMP
MAN
Attention: In this mode the pump is maintained turned on,
ignoring the protection functions and temperature sensors.
Obs.: In the pump mode settings, the controller takes on the new mode 5 seconds after its
selection. This also is the time necessary for the parameter to be stored in its memory.
When the MAN mode is selected (MANUAL), the operation mode remains in this state for
the period defined in function [,f07] - Maximum pump time turned in manual mode.
After, the controller takes on the AUT mode (AUTOMATIC). If you wish to return to AUT
mode before this period, press the key at any time.

5.4 FILTERING OPERATING MODE

F
With each short press of the
button you can change the operating mode of the filtering
output between AUT and MAN modes.

MAN = Filtering in manual mode, output remains
on for the time set in [,F15]- Filtering manual
AUX

override time, returning to AUT (automatic) mode
F
after this time has elapsed.
Note: When adjusting the filtering mode, the controller changes into the new mode 5 seconds
after your selection. This is also the time required for the parameter to be stored in its memory.
Manual mode is used when you wish to filter the pool outside the hours set in the events
schedule.
