Overview

The new EVO-ALL interface module eliminates the need for a separate remote start module. It uses the vehicle's

computer to start the vehicle using the factory remotes. Your kit consists of an EVO-ALL interface module and a

THAR-GM4 plug and play T-harness that is designed to make the installation of the remote start very easy. There are

a LOT of wires in your kit. Because the EVO-ALL and the T-Harness are designed specifically for your vehicle, you

will use very few of the wires. The only connections into the vehicle that are not direct plug-ins are the OPTIONAL

parking light & hood pin features.

1. The bulk of the installation takes place right under the dash on the driver's side. Begin by removing the plastic

panel at the bottom of the dash, above where the pedals are. The panel is held in with both bolts and clips. Be

careful not to break the panel – especially in cold weather.

1. Locate the vehicle's ignition connector in the ignition barrel and carefully disconnect the ignition plug from the

ignition barrel

2. Connect the male ignition connector of the T-harness to the female ignition connector in the vehicle, then connect

the female ignition connector of the T-harness to the male ignition connector in the vehicle

3. Locate the vehicle's transponder connector in the ignition barrel and carefully disconnect the ignition plug from the

ignition barrel

4. Connect the male transponder connector from the T-harness to the female transponder connector in the vehicle,

then connect the female transponder connector from the T-harness to the male transponder connector in the

vehicle

Page 4 **NOTE: To remote-start the vehicle, press the lock button on your factory remote 3 times in a row** STEP 4: Optional Wiring Connections 1. Hood Pin & Valet Switch – Your remote start kit includes a spring loaded hood pin and valet switch. While they are not essential to the operation of the remote start, they are important safety devices that prevent the starter from accidentally engaging when not desired.
Page 5 STEP 5: Finish up! Test all functions. The remote start will engage when you press the ‘lock’ button on your factory key fob 3 times in succession. After confirming that everything works properly, secure the remote start module and all the wires connected to it.
