Although easy to install and program, a small installation mistake such as a keypad not terminated correctly, may cause a failure that affects overall system operation.

Page 1 of 1 OVERVIEW The KP3 three button keypad is exclusively used with the Audioaccess PX-603 multi-room expander. This keypad uses a six conductor (24AWG) wire with a one to one style connection using RJ11 modular plugs. WIRING THE KP3 KEYPAD TO THE PX-603 ROOM EXPANDER The wire is homerun between the keypad and the PX-603.

Overview It has come to our attention that a PX-603 expansion room volume cannot be set when a PX-603 is used in a PX- 700 system containing v1.1 firmware. A new soon to be released version of the Installation Manager (IM) v2.0.1.2 will add a feature to set the PX-603 Expansion Room turn on volume.

STEP 3: Set Expansion Room Level. a. Go to the Keypad that is addressed to the PX-603 expansion room you wish to set. b. Turn the Room ON from the keypad and lower the volume to the desired “Turn On” level.

Turn on PX-603 Power Switch while observing the front panel LED. It should initially be Yellow/Amber flicker Green and then stay Yellow/Amber. Press the button on the KP3. The Red LED on the KP3 should light, the Front Panel light of the PX-603 should change to Green and you should now hear your Audio Source.
