Features A unidirectional microphone 600 ohm low impedance output The talk switch is provided on the sturdy, zinc die-cast grip and the user can freely switch the output on and off. A special structure facilitates easier maintenance checks and repairs. A 3-pole Cannon type output connector is provided. - Page 3 Hence, the ON OFF switching function has nothing to do with battery consumption. The KD-818 is an extremely rugged microphone, and can withstand a wide range of temperature and humidity variations without damaging the microphone element. Nevertheless, take great care not to let foreign particles enter the windscreen.
