Controls As the smart remote controls home devices (such as TV, audio, automated curtain, etc) via infrared signal, you need to go through a step to secure the IR coding of the devices before you can control them. Different types of IR-controllable devices use different IR coding.

Smart Remote Click a button in the figure above to record its corresponding IR coding, and a dialog box as shown below will pop up. Click “Record”. A display of “Lr ――” will start flashing on the LCD, waiting for you to point your original remote to the Smart Remote and press the button of the function you’d like to record.
