To install the X2-9891N1-PWM CPU cooler:
1. Remove the fan(s) from the CPU cooler before starting installation.
2. Backplate Setup (for AMD and Intel except LGA 2011):
- Insert screw stems C through the correct holes in backplate A.
- Fasten them with nuts F.
- Add the screw pads (H for AMD, I for Intel).
3. AMD Installation:
- Fasten AMD retention bars N to the heatsink using screws G.
- Insert the screw stems from the back of the motherboard through the mounting holes.
4. Intel Installation (except LGA 2011):
- Insert the screw stems from the backplate through the motherboard.
- Continue with standard mounting steps.
5. Intel LGA 2011 Installation:
- Place the heatsink onto the CPU.
- Insert screw stems K into the heatsink bracket.
- Fasten Socket 2011 screws L onto stem K and tighten securely but not too tightly.
6. Final Steps:
- Reattach the fan(s) to the heatsink.
- Connect both fans to the Y-splitter cable P.
- Plug the splitter into the CPU cooler fan header on the motherboard.
Note: Use only a small amount of the supplied thermal grease. Using too much can reduce cooling performance.
